How to register your interest and participate in the MRDC program?
Potential and qualified vendors/companies are invited to come and make an introduction to MRDC. Please send an email to info@mrdc.my for an appointment.
What is MRDC’s role in government rail-related contracts and procurements?
– MRDC plays an indirect role in helping the government, especially MOT and relevant procurement agencies to ensure that the implementation of localization activities can be done.
– MRDC is not involved in any negotiation on commercial-related matters or vendor selection OEM/contractor. However, MRDC will advise based on qualified vendors after an industrial assessment has been carried out.
What are the benefits and advantages of a company that has registered and participated in the MRDC program?
MRDC become a focal point and spearhead the local rail industry in introducing local products, services, and expertise to the government, rail operators, and OEMs including overseas rail companies. MRDC’s close cooperation with agencies such as MATRADE, SME Corps., TDA, and others can be fully leveraged. Companies registered with MRDC will be placed in the Malaysia Rail Directory or database.
