Karnival Jelajah MADANI: Jom Masuk TVET 2024
On 7th of March 2024, MRDC has been invited to join the Karnival Jelajah MADANI: Jom Masuk TVET 2024 at Japan-Malaysia Technical Institute (JMTI) Bukit Mertajam, Penang.
This event was officiated by Deputy Secretary General (Operation) of Ministry of Human Resource (MOHR), Dato’ Hajah Norison Ramli representing the MOHR Minister. It was an effort by the Department of Skills Development (DSD) in promoting and giving exposure about TVET programs to the community, especially the youths.
MRDC booth was represented by Sustainable Railway & Talent Development Division as Industry Lead Body (ILB) in rail sector.
There were around 28 participating exhibitors including TVET training providers, industries, public and private agencies. A lot of activities were held including exhibition from TVET training providers, skills demonstration, pocket talks, career fair and interview. MRDC has shared the overview of Malaysia’s rail industry and development during the pocket talk session.
