Through life support is the critical element that need to be considered for rail assets and should last for 30 years in operation. Unfortunately, we are unable to undertake the major refurbishment activities by ourselves. Thus, will cause huge lost in cost and time for the country. Applied and fundamental  research program in collaboration with local expert from industry and researchers, in support by international institution will ensure we are moving forward into digitalization world of asset management (IoT and IR4.0), begin with the enhancement in capability for re-design and re-engineering.
