Sustainable Railway: Connecting Nations, Preserving Futures

The International Railway Symposium – Sustainable Railway: Connecting Nations, Preserving Futures held on 6th and 7th November 2023 at Movenpick Hotels and Convention Centre brought together stakeholders consisting of government agencies, industry players, academics, researchers, and students to discuss and create new and innovative plans and strategies constructive views and advanced ideas in sustaining the railway industry economically and environmentally.

Through these discussions, we have gained valuable insights into the challenges and opportunities that lie ahead. As we complete this symposium, it is critical that we do not simply rest on the knowledge we have gained but also act to turn ideas into actual results. Together we can create a rail transportation system that not only benefits our economies but also enhances the quality of life for our nation. Our journey to a sustainable railway is not ending here. The challenges ahead are significant but so are the opportunities.
